In a first, the BJP secured control of the corporation, marking a significant breakthrough in Kerala's electoral history.Posting on X, Modi expressed gratitude to voters, stating, Thank you, Thiruvananthapuram! The mandate for BJP-NDA in the municipal corporation represents a pivotal moment in Kerala politics. People trust only our party to fulfill the state's development aspirations. We will work tirelessly to enhance living standards in this vibrant city.

The Prime Minister commended the tireless efforts of BJP workers, adding, I salute all dedicated BJP karyakartas who connected with the people to deliver this outstanding result. Today is a day to honor generations of grassroots workers whose struggles made this historic victory possible. Our karyakartas are our strength, and we take pride in them.

PM Modi also thanked voters across Kerala for supporting BJP and NDA candidates, noting that the public has grown weary of UDF and LDF alliances. He emphasized that Kerala sees the NDA as the sole alternative for good governance and building a Viksit Kerala with opportunities for all.
