New Delhi, 13 December (H.S.): Top Congress leadership celebrated the United Democratic Front (UDF)'s success in Kerala's local body elections on Saturday, terming it a trailer for a resounding victory in the 2026 Assembly polls.

Party President Mallikarjun Kharge thanked Kerala voters via an X post, asserting that the UDF mandate signals a similar triumph ahead. He expressed confidence in party workers maintaining unity and responsibility during future campaigns.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi expressed gratitude to leaders and cadres for their dedication and hard work. Describing the verdict as decisive and morale-boosting, he affirmed it foreshadows a major win for the UDF-led alliance, with Kerala demanding accountable governance.

Gandhi urged standing firmly with common people, addressing daily concerns through transparent, people-centric administration. Party General Secretary and MP K.C. Venugopal echoed that the results preview a UDF sweep in 2026, exposing the LDF while Kerala rejects BJP's divisive politics.
