
Delhi/Hyderabad, 11 December (H.S.): AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Thursday congratulated Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on the unveiling of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document.
Both senior Congress leaders praised the Chief Minister for laying out a comprehensive roadmap for the development of India’s youngest state. Revanth Reddy, who is visiting the national capital, met Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi separately at their residences.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, he briefed them on the successful conduct of the two-day Telangana Rising Global Summit and the release of the vision document in the presence of leading industrialists and global investors.
Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi expressed delight over Telangana attracting large-scale investments from domestic and international companies and signing multiple agreements during the summit.
Minister Vivek Venkataswamy, MPs Suresh Shetkar, M. Anil Kumar, P. Balaram Naik, Dr. Mallu Ravi, K. Raghuveer Reddy and Gaddam Vamshi Krishna were also present during the meetings.
Earlier, Congress MPs Balaram Naik, Suresh Shetkar, Dr. Mallu Ravi, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and M. Anil Kumar met the Chief Minister and congratulated him on the summit’s success. During the two-day event held on Monday and Tuesday, companies committed investments worth ₹5.75 lakh crore in Telangana.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy paid rich tributes to former President Pranab Mukherjee on his birth anniversary. He visited Mukherjee’s residence in Delhi and offered floral tributes before his portrait, recalling his decades-long service to the nation. Minister Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy, MPs and party leader Rohin Reddy accompanied him.
