
Delhi, 11 December (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed deep grief over the accident in Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh. He announced an ex-gratia assistance of ₹2 lakh for the families of those who lost their lives in the incident.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for strength for them during this difficult time. He also wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the accident.
The Prime Minister announced that under the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, each next of kin of the deceased will receive ₹2 lakh as ex-gratia assistance, while individuals injured in the incident will be provided ₹50,000 in aid.
