Delhi, 11 December (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a special dinner for National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs at his residence on 7 Lok Kalyan Marg on Thursday evening, which began at 6:30 pm. The event aimed to strengthen unity among NDA MPs and facilitate informal discussions ahead of the ongoing parliamentary session.

Ahead of the dinner, BJP President JP Nadda and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju reviewed preparations with senior ministers, including Dharmendra Pradhan, Arjun Meghwal, Mansukh Mandaviya, and Pralhad Joshi, as well as party whips from both Houses.

For smooth coordination, MPs were divided into state-wise groups. Ministers from each state escorted their MPs from Parliament to the Prime Minister’s residence and oversaw seating arrangements. MPs traveled in groups of 20–25 by bus, with many assembling at the Parliament Library (GMC Balyogi Auditorium) beforehand. Car-poolers had the option to travel directly from Parliament. Officials said traffic management was planned to avoid congestion on Lok Kalyan Marg, and all MPs were instructed to reach by 5 pm.

Senior NDA leaders, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda, and Nitin Gadkari, attended the dinner. The event, initially scheduled for an earlier parliamentary session, was postponed due to the Himachal floods.

The state-wise grouping and structured travel helped maintain seamless coordination while providing a platform for MPs to engage in discussions on legislative strategy and upcoming elections.
