Lucknow,

03 Oct (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously taking necessary

steps towards making the state a one trillion dollar economy. Under this

initiative, he is implementing various schemes to empower the youth of the

state and provide them with self-employment opportunities. Among these schemes,

the Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign Scheme has become

the primary choice of the state's youth. This can be gauged from the fact that

in the first six months of the current financial year, more than 250,000

applications have been received across the state, while the Yogi government has

set a target of distributing 150,000 loans in the financial year 2025-26. These

figures clearly demonstrate that CM Yogi's Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneur

Development Campaign is attracting young people, and they are joining it to

fulfill their dreams. Jaunpur has secured the first place in Uttar Pradesh in

providing benefits under the scheme, followed by Azamgarh in second place and

Kaushambi in third.

Over

2.5 lakh youth applied in six months: The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is

the only one in the entire country that is not only focusing on providing

employment to the youth of the state but also empowering them to become strong

entrepreneurs. As a result, the youth of the state are not only promoting their

businesses but also bringing positive change to society. In this regard, the

Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign Scheme is proving to

be a significant step in empowering the youth of the state and inspiring them

towards entrepreneurship. Under this scheme, against the target of 1.5 lakh in

the current financial year 2025-26, 2,55,174 youth from across the state have

applied for loans in six months, while 2,08,097 applications have been

forwarded to banks. Of these, 64,673 applications have been approved by banks,

while 63,009 youth have been disbursed loans for self-employment.

Jaunpur

has the highest number of loans distributed to 1,385 youth in the entire state.

Jaunpur

district has secured first place in the entire state in providing benefits

under the Chief Minister's Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign Scheme by

distributing loans to the highest number of applicants. Jaunpur District

Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh said that the Chief Minister's Youth

Entrepreneur Development Campaign is being run to provide self-employment to

the youth of the state. In such a situation, as per the wishes of CM Yogi, a

special campaign is being run in the district and loans are being made

available to the youth for self-employment by contacting banks.

He

stated that the district has been given the target of providing loans to 2,250

youth under the campaign in the current financial year. In comparison, 5,999

applications were received in the last six months, of which 4,784 applications

have been sent to the bank. Of these, loans have been disbursed to 2,003

applicants. District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh stated that Jaunpur

has secured first place in the entire state by distributing loans to the

highest number of youth in the last six months. Similarly, Azamgarh has secured

second place in the entire state in providing benefits under the scheme.

Azamgarh was given a target of 2,250 in the current financial year, against

which 5,112 applications were received in six months. Of these, 4,285

applications were sent to the bank, of which loans have been disbursed to 1,859

applicants.

Kaushambi,

Ambedkarnagar, Jhansi, Siddharthnagar and Hardoi also performed well.

The

Kaushambi District Magistrate stated that, in accordance with Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath's vision, a special campaign is being launched to connect youth

with self-employment and provide benefits under the Chief Minister's Youth

Entrepreneur Development Campaign. To ensure maximum youth benefit from the

scheme, monthly meetings are held with banks so that any problems related to

the scheme can be resolved immediately. This is why Kaushambi has ranked third

in the state for providing benefits under the scheme. Kaushambi was given a

target of 1,700 applications in the current financial year, against which 6,984

applications were received in six months. Of these, 4,988 applications were

forwarded to the bank, of which 1,299 applicants have been approved for loans,

while 1,185 have been disbursed. Ambedkar Nagar has also ranked fourth and
