Leh, 3 October (H.S.): Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS), visited forward areas in Ladakh from September 28 to 30 to review operational preparedness and interact with personnel deployed in the Eastern Ladakh region.

During his visit, the VCAS inspected infrastructure and operational facilities at forward locations and assessed the readiness of forces in the high-altitude sector.

He interacted with personnel of the Indian Air Force and Indian Army, praising their dedication and professionalism in safeguarding the nation’s borders under tough terrain and weather conditions.

Air Marshal Tiwari also appreciated the role of the Border Roads Organisation and other agencies engaged in vital infrastructure projects.

He underlined the importance of synergy between the Armed Forces and civil agencies, stating that timely completion of projects would enhance India’s strategic reach and air power in Ladakh.
