Auraiya,
03 Oct (HS): District Magistrate Dr. Indramani Tripathi and Superintendent of
Police Abhishek Bharti of Auraiya district, Uttar Pradesh, conducted a flag
march in the city area on Friday in view of the Durga idol immersion and the
Alvida Juma prayer. Officials marched on foot to inspect various locations and
review security arrangements to maintain law and order.
The
District Magistrate (DM) and Superintendent of Police (SP) marched on foot from
JCs Square in the city, passing through Sati Talab, Sanjay Gate, Jamal Shah,
and Subhash Square to Phaphund City. During this march, they provided necessary
instructions to the police officers and staff on duty. The officers clearly
stated that at no cost should a breach of peace occur in the district. They
also appealed to the public to ignore rumors and cooperate with the
administration in maintaining peace and harmony.
Drone
cameras also monitored the flag march. Special police deployments were made to
ensure security in crowded areas. Officials instructed station heads present on
the scene to exercise special vigilance and increase vigilance at sensitive
locations.
On
this occasion, Deputy Tehsildar Sadar Prakash Chaudhary, the Station House
Officer, and a large police force were present. The administration says that
strict security arrangements have been made for the Durga idol immersion and
the Friday prayers, ensuring peace and tranquility in the district.
