Bhubaneswar, 3 October (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Railways, Communications & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw for their support in strengthening digital skilling in the state.

In a social media post on Friday, Majhi said the establishment of the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Centre at Balasore is a matter of pride for Odisha and will provide new avenues of learning and employment opportunities for the youth.

“The Centre will benefit students from across Odisha, enabling them to gain expertise in emerging technologies and contribute to the state’s growing IT ecosystem,” the Chief Minister stated.

He further reaffirmed Odisha’s commitment to partner in this transformative journey and to build a digitally empowered future for the state’s younger generation.

The upcoming NIELIT Centre is expected to play a crucial role in skilling, reskilling and upskilling students and professionals in line with the demands of the digital economy.
