Murshidabad, 3 October (H.S.) A woman died when a bomb exploded in her home in Domkal in Murshidabad district on the morning of Ekadashi. The police have arrested the deceased woman's husband and launched an investigation.

The deceased woman has been identified as Siddhatun Khatun, a resident of Kanguradia Ghatpara in Ghoramaara Panchayat. On Friday morning, she went to her room in the house to collect paddy as usual. Suddenly, there was a loud explosion, and the bomb exploded, leaving Siddhatun severely burned. Family members immediately rushed her to the hospital, but doctors declared her dead.

On information, the police arrived at the scene and arrested the deceased woman's husband, Gafur Mandal. The body has been sent for a postmortem.

According to police sources, the bomb was hidden in a plastic jar near the paddy. The matter is being investigated.
