Lucknow,
03 Oct (HS): The Uttar Pradesh government announced on Friday that Project
Praveen will provide vocational training in government secondary schools across
the state for the fiscal year 2025-26. According to an official announcement,
the Uttar Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Mission has set benchmarks for training
providers to achieve. According to the Kaushal Vikas Mission's directives,
training providers must create training centers in compliance with the rules
and, after receiving clearance from the district programme management unit,
must commence training batches by October 20, 2025, according to the statement.
During this event, enrolled trainees will get complimentary study
materials. Representatives from the
district programme management unit will be present during the distribution
procedure, according to the government.
According
to the statement, training providers must also post at least three images of
study material delivery and batch beginning, as well as a distribution
acknowledgement document that has been officially certified by the district
programme management unit, to the mission portal. This action would ensure
openness and accountability, it stated.
The
Yogi Adityanath ministry stated that, in addition to traditional education,
job-related skills are critical for preparing young people for future problems.
Project Praveen fulfills this ambition by providing secondary school students
with not just technical training but also free access to critical study materials,
according to the statement. Priya Singh, the Additional Mission Director of the
Uttar Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Mission, reviewed the status of ongoing
registrations for the India Skills Competition 2025 on Friday.
She
also met with the district project management units (DPMUs) and directed them
to speed the registration process. The official stated that all districts in
Uttar Pradesh will run specific marketing to encourage participation in the
tournament. Singh stated that extensive publicizing, counselling camps, and
institutional cooperation should be implemented as soon as possible to connect
kids with skill competitions. With the registration deadline extended to
October 15, 2025, she directed all district project management units to conduct
direct engagement with targeted youngsters to achieve an increase in
registrations. The
competition's website, https://www.skillindiadigital.gov.in, provides detailed
information and registration options.
