Kokrajhar (Assam), 03 October (HS): The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has suspended two of its leaders for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities during the recently concluded 5th BTC council elections.
Those suspended are Rindao Basumatary, Organizational Secretary of BPF’s Mushalpur Block unit and Jahangir Alam, President of the Minority Cell. Both leaders have been expelled from the party for six years.
The decision was made public during a meeting, where their suspension was formally announced. In the same meeting, Ansumay Shungur Baro was unanimously reappointed as the President of Mushalpur BPF.
