
New Delhi, 06 August (H.S.): Gold and silver prices witnessed a sharp rally across India's bullion markets during early trading on Thursday, with both precious metals recording significant gains. Gold prices rose by Rs 1,620 to Rs 1,770 per 10 grams in most major bullion markets, while spot silver surged by as much as Rs 5,200 per kilogram.
Following the sharp increase, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 145,760 and Rs 145,910 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 133,610 and Rs 133,760 per 10 grams. Silver also recorded a strong upward move, with spot silver trading at Rs 240,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 145,910 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 133,760 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, India's financial capital, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 145,760 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 133,610 per 10 grams.
In Ahmedabad, retail prices stood at Rs 145,810 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 133,660 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.
Among other major cities, Chennai recorded 24-carat gold at Rs 145,760 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 133,610 per 10 grams. Kolkata also reported identical prices, with 24-carat gold at Rs 145,760 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 133,610 per 10 grams.
In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 145,810 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 133,660 per 10 grams.
Jaipur reported 24-carat gold at Rs 145,910 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 133,760 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 145,810 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at Rs 133,660 per 10 grams.
