
Bhubaneswar, 16 August (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday expressed his gratitude to outgoing Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania for his dedicated service to the state and wished him a peaceful, healthy and prosperous retirement.
Khurania retired from service on Saturday, marking the end of his tenure as the head of the Odisha Police.
In a post on X, Chief Minister Majhi conveyed his appreciation for Khurania’s long and dedicated service to Odisha.
The Chief Minister praised his leadership in maintaining law and order and promoting peace and harmony across the state. He also commended Khurania for his contribution towards making the Odisha Police administration more efficient, empowered and people-centric.
“On the occasion of the end of his term, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Director General of Police (DGP) of Odisha, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, for his long and dedicated service,” Majhi said.
Wishing the outgoing police chief well for the next phase of his life, the Chief Minister said, “My best wishes for a peaceful, healthy and prosperous retirement.”
