Guwahati, 13 August (HS): Charaideo Sunrisers produced a dominant performance to defeat Jorhat Stallions by seven wickets in Match No. 25 of the Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League 2026 at the ACA Stadium, Guwahati, on Thursday. The win lifted Charaideo to fifth place in the points table.

Reshabh Dipak starred with the ball, claiming four wickets for 18 runs, before returning with the bat to smash an unbeaten 34 off just 11 balls. Skipper Sumit Ghadigaonkar anchored the chase with an unbeaten 56 off 44 balls, including five fours and two sixes.

Batting first, Jorhat Stallions managed 128/8 in 20 overs. Swarupam Purkayastha top-scored with 28 off 24 balls, while Rajveer Singh contributed 22 and Dyutimoy Nath hit 19 off seven balls. Dipak finished with 4/18, while Dibakar Johori took 2/24.

In reply, Charaideo Sunrisers raced to 130/3 in just 14.3 overs. The openers added 58 runs before Pradyun Saikia was dismissed for 25. Ghadigaonkar remained unbeaten and controlled the chase before Dipak's explosive cameo sealed a comprehensive victory.
