
Prayagraj, 06 July (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
arrived in Prayagraj at around 3 pm on Monday afternoon. He was accompanied by
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and the district's in-charge
minister, Swatantra Dev Singh. The Chief Minister's helicopter landed at the
parade ground near Sangam.
From the parade ground, the Chief Minister's convoy reached
the newly built Prerna Park on Yamuna Bank Road. There he unveiled the statues
of Jan Sangh's founding president Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, former Prime
Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former International President
of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Ashok Singhal. After the program organized for the
inauguration of the Prerna Park located in Prayagraj and the unveiling of the
statues installed by the Municipal Corporation, UP CM felicitated
benefeciaries.
After this, he flagged off the Boat Unity Race. He will
address a public meeting. From here, he will review the work done by the Public
Works Department in three districts of Prayagraj zone, Pratapgarh and Kaushambi
in the auditorium of Prayagraj Mela Authority. The Chief Minister will leave
for Lucknow at around 6 pm.
