Prayagraj, 06 July (HS): In the program organized for the

inauguration of the Prerna Park located in Prayagraj and the unveiling of the

statues installed by the Municipal Corporation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

said, “Our Prayagraj is moving forward strongly on the path of development.

Today, after dedicating Prerna Park located at Kali Ghat in the Sangam city of

Prayagraj, I unveiled the magnificent statues of three great personalities of

the country - respected Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, former Prime Minister and

'Bharat Ratna' respected Atal Bihari Vajpayee and respected Ashok Singhal. On

this occasion, certificates, cheques, keys and cleaning kits were distributed

to the beneficiaries of various schemes. Hearty congratulations to the

residents of the district. On the banks of Mother Yamuna, the majestic statues

of three great luminaries will be a new source of inspiration for every

citizen. This land of Prayagraj has shown it by doing. The meaning of Ram is

the nation. Lord Shri Ram is the fundamental source of the soul of India.”

Sangam city was the center of the strategy of Ram temple

movement: Addressing the event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recalled the

struggles of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. He said, The magnificent Shri

Ram temple we see in Ayodhya today is the result of the sacrifice, penance, and

struggle of millions of Ram devotees. This was the country's largest cultural

movement, which, under the leadership of revered saints, united the entire

nation from north to south and east to west.

“Congress and the National Conference, both parties wanted a

separate constitution and a separate flag for Kashmir. The honorable Prime

Minister Shri @narendramodiji has shattered their dreams and realized the dream

of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjeeji. The 'lotus' is the assurance of prosperity,

good governance, and the safety of sisters and daughters,” he added.

Paying tribute to Ashok Singhal's contributions, the Chief

Minister said that in the 1980s, when the slogan Ram Lalla hum aayenge,

mandir wahi banayenge resonated, young people, regardless of caste,

region, or language, spearheaded the movement under Singhal's leadership. He

dedicated his entire life to the service of Sanatan Dharma, the nation, and

society.

VHP Kashi Province President KP Singh also expressed his

views on this occasion. He said that today is a day of great joy. The strategy

for the Ayodhya movement was formulated in this Sangam city under the

leadership of Ashok Singhal. This place of inspiration will inspire our future

generations to do something for the country.

Inauguration of National Kayaking Competition and worship of

Lord Hanuman: Along with unveiling the statues, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath

also inaugurated the 37th National Kayaking Competition held in Prayagraj.

Following this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav

Prasad Maurya visited the famous reclining Hanuman temple and offered prayers.

The two leaders performed aarti (ritualistic aarti) in the court of Bajrangbali

and prayed for the state's prosperity and public welfare.
