31 July (HS): RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat said that Dr Hedgewar and RSS

are not two different identities. His life was entirely dedicated to RSS and to

the nation.

Dr

Bhagwat was speaking during the release of special postal catalogue, and

information booklet in memory of founder of RSS Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar at

Dr Hedgewar’s residence in Nagpur. RSS was established in a small room of his

house on Vijayadashami Day. Formed with a limited number of volunteers has spread

in the entire nation and abroad. Curiosity and interest of people about

functioning of RSS is increasing and its working pattern is considering useful

in various countries. This is effective method of building an individual and

the society.

With the

wider spread of the RSS work the responsibilities also increased without any

expectation of publicity. The world, however, is seeing the impact on the

society and people are joining the mission to serve the society and the nation,

he said.

Dr

Bhagwat thanked the Department of Posts for helping in spreading the

information about Dr Hedgewar’s work by bring out a postal catalogue and

booklet.

Prant Saha Sanghchalak Shridhar Gadge, Mahanagar Sanghchalak Rajesh Loya, Regional

Director of Postas Dr Sudhir Jakhere, Chief Post Master General Ramchandra Jaybhaye,

and others were present on the occasion.
