Lucknow, 29 July (HS): State Minister of Basic Education

(Independent Charge) and Atrauli MLA Sandeep Singh has heartily congratulated

Gulveer Singh, a former student of Composite Higher Primary School, Sirsa,

located in Block Bijauli of Aligarh district, for winning the silver medal in

the 10,000 meter race of the Commonwealth Games.

Sandeep Singh said that Gulveer Singh's achievement is a

matter of pride not only for Aligarh, but for the entire state of Uttar Pradesh

and the country. Through hard work, discipline, and dedication, he has brought

glory to the Indian flag on the international stage. His success will serve as

an inspiration for millions of students and youth in the state.

He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is continuously working to promote

sports, provide world-class facilities to athletes, and hone their talents.

Effective policies have been implemented in the state to expand sports

infrastructure, develop training facilities, and honor and encourage athletes,

the positive results of which are being seen at the national and international

levels.
