MOSCOW, July 28 (HS/RIA Novosti) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Tuesday that it had detained an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine trained in Kiev, who planned to blow up the car of an employee of the Russian administration of the Kharkov (Kharkiv) region in Belgorod.

The Russian Federal Security Service has uncovered and suppressed an action by the Ukrainian special services to commit a terrorist act against an employee of the military-civil administration of the Kharkov region located in Belgorod, the FSB said in a statement.

A resident of the region, born in 1963, recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine, received special training in Kiev on the organization of hiding places, surveillance, the use of conspiratorial means and the handling of explosive devices and explosives, the statement read.

Having arrived on the territory of the Belgorod Region, the attacker, on the instructions of Ukrainian curators, established surveillance of employees of the military-civil administration of the Kharkov region. He transmitted the received data to the Ukrainian Security Service staff via the Telegram messenger, the FSB added.
