Varanasi, 27 July (HS): A nursery teacher at a private

school in Varanasi reportedly branded a five-year-old kid on his private parts

with a hot knife after he urinated in his trousers after he was denied

permission to use the bathroom, authorities said on Monday. An FIR was filed

against the teacher, principal, and school administration after the child's

father, lawyer Kesari Jaiswal, submitted a complaint at the Lalpur-Pandeypur

police station.

Jaiswal said that his kid, a nursery student at Sareen Soni Play School in

Pandeypur, went home on July 24 complaining of pain in his private areas. He

stated that during the inspection, the child's mother discovered a blister. The

father said that instructor Preeti Kushwaha caused the injury after he urinated

in his trousers after he was denied permission to use the bathroom.

According to the lawsuit, the instructor brought the boy to

another room, heated the knife on the gas burner, and burned his private parts.

Jaiswal stated that he approached school management with his wife on July 25 to

file a complaint, but no action was taken, so he approached police.

According to police, a FIR has been filed against Kushwaha, school management,

and the principal under relevant BNS laws such as Sections 115(2) (voluntary

causing harm), 118(1) (voluntary causing hurt or grievous hurt by hazardous

weapons or methods), and 351(2) (criminal intimidation).

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav described it as highly

severe in a post on X, claiming that the child's terrible and frightening

experience might last a lifetime.

He urged instructors to treat students with compassion and humanity and called

for prompt action.
