Prayagraj, 27 July (HS): The City Congress Committee members paid heartfelt tribute to Bharat Ratna, “Missile Man” and “People’s President” Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on his 11th death anniversary. At a condolence ceremony held in the afternoon at the party office in Chowk under the chairmanship of City President Fuzail Hashmi, floral tributes were offered to his portrait and his unparalleled dedication to nation-building was remembered.

UPCC former spokesman Kishore Varshney said that the renowned scientist, who dedicated everything to the service of the nation, won the hearts of people through his honesty, simplicity and exceptional qualities. He said that Dr. Kalam was great not because of power, but because of his values and character. His ideals, dedicated life and thoughts will always inspire the people of the country, especially the younger generation, to move forward.
