In democracy, victory is due to
dialogue, not sticks: Engineer Sunil Kushwaha
Prayagraj, 25 July (HS): Engineer
Sunil Kushwaha, National President of the Pragatisheel Samaj Party (PSP),
welcomed the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, saying
that it represents a significant victory in the long, democratic, and arduous
struggle of students across the country. He said that this resignation is
dedicated to the patience, solidarity, and democratic struggle of millions of
students who have consistently raised their voices demanding their rights and
transparency in the education system.
Engineer Sunil Kushwaha said that if the Modi government had listened to the
students in time, adopted a dialogue approach, and had shed its arrogance and
respected public sentiment, this situation would not have arisen. The central
government's stubbornness and anti-student attitude forced the youth to take to
the streets.
Describing student-youth power as the biggest strength of democracy, he
saluted their struggle and demanded that concrete reforms should be implemented
immediately in the education system to ensure transparency, accountability and
to protect the interests of students.
