Pune, 23 July (HS); A special issue of periodical ‘Swarpratibha’

in memory of renowned singer Asha Bhosle will be released at the hands of her

sister and singer Usha Mangeshkar on July 27. The function will be held at

Balgandharva Mandir, Pune at 12.30 pm, in the presence of ex-MLA Ulhas Pawar in

the chair, senior anchor Sudhir Gadgil, Pune Municipal Corporation Congress

Group leader Adv Ramchandra alias Chandu Sheth Kadam.

The

special issue is being brought through the inspiration and support of Dr P D

Patil, Chancellor of Dr D Y Patil University.

Popular

Marathi and Hindi sons of Asha Bhosle will be presented by noted singers

Manisha Nishchal and Jitendra Petkar.

The

event is free for the music lovers. Entry passes can be procured from the

ticket window of Balgandharva Mandir from July 23 on first come first served

bases. Copies of the special issue will be available at the venue at concessional

rate.
