Prayagraj, 21 July (HS): Prayagraj-born Vikram Montrose has

carved out a distinct identity in Bollywood (Mumbai) through sheer hard work

and talent. His journey from Prayagraj to the city of dreams, Mumbai, is a

story of struggle, dedication, and an unbreakable love for music. Vikram

arrived in Mumbai 21 years ago. In the early days, he began with advertisements

and small projects. Gradually, his perseverance paid off, and he earned

opportunities to work in big-banner films.

He made his career breakthrough in 2018 with Rajkumar

Hirani’s film Sanju. Actor Sanjay Dutt (fondly known as Sanju Baba) gave him

the chance, and this proved to be the turning point of his life. The songs of

the film won the hearts of audiences and brought Vikram recognition in the

music industry.

Vikram’s music direction in films like Sanju was remarkable

and unique. His compositions beautifully blend the simplicity of Prayagraj’s

soil with the modernity of Mumbai. At the age of 39, he achieved a milestone

that many artists dream of their entire lives. Vikram says, “Music is my life.

Prayagraj gave me values, and Mumbai gave me a stage.”

After the success of Sanju, Vikram never looked back. He

said, “My responsibility has now increased; I must do even better.” Following

this, he directed and sang for films such as Torbaaz, Prasthanam, Commando 3,

Mere Desh Ki Dharti, Shershaah (honored with the IIFA Award), Bachchan Pandey,

Liger, Ram Setu, Selfiee, OMG 2, Crakk, Kill, and Jolly LLB 3, among others.

Beyond films, Vikram has also created numerous music albums.

These include Sajan Main Nachungi with Sophie Choudry, a recreation of Bin Tere

Sanam, Khudaya Re and Adheera with Sanjay Dutt, and devotional tracks with

Akshay Kumar such as Shambhu and Mahakal Chalo. Other albums include Bhole

Bhole, Maa Mahakali, Sanwariya, Holi Pe Chali Goli, Ganda Banda, and the

multi-cast film album Welcome to the Jungle. On his birthday, July 22, we

extend heartfelt congratulations and wish him a bright future ahead.
