Nagpur, 20 July

(HS): After spending entire life in dense forests the Maxalites who surrendered

in October 2025 are being taken on Maharashtra tour in an effort to bring them

to the main stream of life. The second ‘Maharashtra Darshan’ tour for 61

surrendered Naxalites, including senior leader Mallojula Venugopal Rao alias

Abhay, Bhupati, will be taken out from July 26.

About 55 of them

saw the world outside the dense jungles for the first time. Along with security

personnel a total of 109 people will be taken out in the second tour to observe

and experience the common man’s life and development outside without any kind

of violence. Two special vans and kitchen have been arranged for their tour.

The places they

are likely to visit include Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur, Lonar Lake in Buldana,

Ajanta and Ellora caves, Daulatabad Fort, Bibi Ka Maqbara, and Sevagram in

Wardha

During the last

tour they were highly impressed by the management and cleanliness at Shegaon.
