Ramraksha agitation in Nagpur

Nagpur, 18 July (HS):

Launching a scathing attack on Bharatiya Janata Party and BJP-led Government, UBT

Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has become an ATM

for BJP. Thackeray was speaking during Ramraksha Pathan agitation in Nagpur on

Saturday.

Thackeray said the Shiv

Sainiks are followers of the party Founder Balasaheb Thackeray and Hindu in the

true sense. Referring to Balasaheb’s stand during demolition of Babri Masjid,

he had said he is proud of Shiv Sainiks if they demolished the disputed

structure and popularised the slogan ‘Garve se kaho hum Hindu hain’.

Referring to his

criticism on failure to recite Ramraksha, Thackeray said that we are protectors

and followers of Ram. This is the time to protect Ram, when thefts are reported

from the temple lockers, because of BJP. The transactions related to faith of

people should be with transparency and responsibility. He demanded enquiry

through retired judge in theft at Ram Mandir.

MP Sanjay Raut, MLA

Aditya Thackeray and several office bearers and workers of the party

participated.
