the wood art of the Nagina artisans. He said, The face of Bijnor has
changed in the last 9 years and today this district is giving a new message of
development. He assured sugarcane farmers that they are being ensured
timely payment and he has also agreed to increase the sugarcane price to Rs
400, a decision on which will be taken soon. The CM said that farmers were in a
bad condition under previous governments, whereas under the present government
they are getting respect and fair prices.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on
the opposition during his speech. Referring to the Jinnah vs.
Sugarcane debate, he said that some people like Jinnah, but we prefer the
sugarcane of the state's farmers. He targeted the Congress party, saying that
it is responsible for the sins of Partition and is still trying to divide
society. He also questioned the opposition's silence, citing the atrocities
against Hindus in Bangladesh, and said that the Congress party has always
insulted Babasaheb.
Referring to Yogendra Nath Mandal, the Chief Minister said
that he got misled by the Muslim League during the partition of the country,
after which he had to flee from Pakistan to India, but because of him, even
today the people of Dalit and deprived society are being oppressed in
Bangladesh and Pakistan. Referring to Baba Ambedkar, he said that he always
fought for the independence of India, hence he is generally worshipped among
Dalits, deprived and backward people, but today some people are conspiring to
make Dalits fight against Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Rajputs and Jats.
Such people are trying to prove their politics by creating caste
discrimination.
Referring to law and order, the Chief Minister said that the
governments before 2017 were themselves a bad omen, causing the
state to be plagued by riots and curfews. He claimed that today Uttar Pradesh
is riot-free, there are no restrictions on the Kanwar Yatra, and no one can
breach the state's security.
