New Delhi, 16 July (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday invoked the blessings of Lord Jagannath and prayed for renewed energy and well-being in the lives of all Indians. Marking the auspicious occasion of the annual Rath Yatra, the Prime Minister shared an audio-visual presentation featuring a Sanskrit *Subhashitam* dedicated to Lord Jagannath on X.

The world-renowned Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath commenced today in Puri, Odisha, drawing thousands of devotees and tourists from across India and abroad to witness the grand religious procession.

Sharing the Sanskrit verse, Devadeva Jagannatha Surasura Namaskrita, Punyashlokavyayananta Paramatmannamo'stu Te, Prime Minister Modi wrote on X:

On the sacred occasion of Mahaprabhu Jagannath's Rath Yatra, I pray that His divine blessings always remain with us. May His grace infuse the lives of all our fellow citizens with renewed energy.

Lord Jagannath, the God of gods and the Supreme Lord of the entire universe, is worshipped by both celestial beings and all living creatures. His glory is sacred and benevolent. He is eternal, imperishable and infinite—the Supreme Soul who resides in the hearts of all beings. Repeated salutations to Lord Jagannath.
