Lucknow, 15 July (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said

that the state government has been successful in bringing about major changes

in law and order, economy, agriculture, investment and infrastructure in nine

years. Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was facing crisis of identity, security and

development, but in the last nine years the state has established its strong

identity among the leading economies of the country. He said that for the first

time in Uttar Pradesh, a government will be repeated for the third consecutive

time. This time the NDA government will score a hat-trick in Uttar Pradesh. The

Chief Minister was addressing a special conclave of a private news channel in

Lucknow on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Yogi said that the performance and report

card of the last nine years are before the public. The public is ready to

decide. The performance of the Samajwadi Party and other governments from 2003

to 2017 is also before everyone. We worked to advance a developed India under

the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi. We have reaped the benefits of

a double-engine government. Uttar Pradesh has succeeded in this. Only a

double-engine BJP government can fulfill the vision of a developed Uttar

Pradesh. Last year, a record was broken, and this time a new one is about to be

broken. For the first time in Uttar Pradesh, a government will repeat its term

for the third consecutive time. There should be no doubt that the NDA

government under the leadership of the BJP will score a hat-trick in Uttar

Pradesh this time.

The government treasury was looted during the SP government:

Yogi said that if SP had a model of development, UP would have been developed

long ago. The Saifai family was destroying UP. The JPNIC building is an example

of this. SP had prepared a DPR of Rs 200 crore for the construction of JPNIC,

but even after spending Rs 800 crore, it is incomplete. A DPR of Rs 166 crore

was prepared in the name of the river front of Gomti, which is considered the

original Ganga, but Rs 1400 crore was spent. Besides, the work is also

incomplete. In the SP government, only the government treasury was being

looted.

He said that the then Chief Minister laid the foundation

stone of Purvanchal Expressway in December 2016. After this, the cost was fixed

at Rs 15,200 crore. After the change of government, when it was reviewed in May

2017, it was found that there was no land. When major irregularities were found

in it, the tender was cancelled. It took two years to buy the land. In 2018, we

got 90 percent of the land. After this, the tender of Rs 15,200 crore became

only Rs 11,800 crore. In the same budget, a better Purvanchal Expressway was

constructed than the SP government.

The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh's excise policy

was also rigged. Previously, the excise duty collection was only Rs. 12,000

crore. It was difficult for our government, but we changed the policy. Today,

the government is receiving five times more, Rs. 63,000 crore, in excise duty.

Opposition fields lawyers to oppose Ram Temple: The Chief

Minister said that before 2017, when there was no security in UP, curfew would

be imposed before festivals and riots would start. Today, festivals and

celebrations of every community are being celebrated peacefully. Those who

fired bullets at Ram devotees in Ayodhya are talking about faith. Also, they

got namaz offered on the steps of the holy Hanumangarhi. They were filing

affidavits in the Supreme Court of the country that Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri

Krishna did not exist. They fielded their advocates against the Ram temple. They

looted the country's treasury and created a crisis of identity. Today they are

seeing the theft of Ayodhya but cannot see their own robbery.

Yogi said that the incident in Ayodhya certainly hurts all

Ram devotees. It is an independent trust, in which the government has no right

to interfere. At the trust's request, the state government formed an SIT. As

soon as the SIT report was received, the trust initiated action, arresting

those caught stealing and their associates. Two resignations were also made on

moral grounds, but using that information to defame Ayodhya, Shri Ram

Janmabhoomi, or attack Hindu faith is not justified. When these centers of

faith in Uttar Pradesh are becoming models for the country and Uttar Pradesh is

progressing in its identity, the SP may be hurt.

The economy has been boosted by places of faith. This has

also improved the financial situation of flower sellers, rickshaw pullers,

hotel and taxi operators. During the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, a sailor

earned Rs. 30 crore, but this doesn't sit well with them.

Similarly, while listing the achievements of his government,

the Chief Minister said that only two families have patented prosperity in

their names. They cannot understand the pain of a poor person. Wherever both

the princes were born, they had the habit of eating with a silver spoon. They

had the habit of sleeping late and waking up in noon. They do not know what the

pain of heat and rain is like. Both have gone to Australia to enjoy the FIFA

Cup and to the US on tourist visa. With whose money are they travelling abroad?

Here they work to divide the society, but the public knows about all their

misdeeds.
