Training partner registration will be online, paperless and
transparent: Youth will get info about district-wise training centers with just
one click
UPSDM signs MoU with KLK Pvt Ltd and Winsome Textiles: 'Skilling
the Future' coffee table book also released
Lucknow, 15 July (HS): Under the leadership of Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is not only skilling the youth
but also making the skill development system completely digital and
transparent. In this sequence, at the state-level celebration of World Youth
Skills Day 2026 at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Minister of State
(Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal, launched two important digital
initiatives.
Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal inaugurated the digital portal
Kaushal Setu by clicking a button. Kaushal Setu is the digital
portal of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM), which makes the
entire process of registration and empanelment of training partners online,
paperless, and transparent. Through this, institutions can easily submit applications,
upload documents, and submit required information on a single platform. This
initiative by the Yogi government will eliminate the need for training
providers to visit government offices.
Minister Agarwal then inaugurated the Skill Development Mission's
second digital platform, Kaushal Sarathi, by pressing a button.
This platform provides youth with a single window of information about training
centers, courses, and training partners available in their districts. Using a
digital map, youth can easily select the right skill training for themselves by
viewing the location, address, and contact details of the training centers.
This will provide youth with a single click of a button to access information
about UPSDM training centers operating in every district of the state.
During the event, UPSDM signed MoU with industry training
partners KLK Pvt Ltd and Winsome Textile Industries Ltd to provide training and
placement to youth in future sectors like robotics, AI, textiles etc. After
this, Minister Agarwal also released the coffee table book of Economic Times
'Skilling the Future UTTAR PRADESH, Journey
from Training to Transformation'. Minister Agarwal said that in the Yogi
government, skill development is not limited to training only, but by linking
it with technology, industry and employment, the youth are being made
self-reliant with the mantra of 'self-reliance through skill and respect
through self-reliance'.
