Bulldozers running on houses of poor in Mahewa condemnable

Prayagraj, 15 July (HS): MP Ujjwal Raman Singh strongly

condemned the demolition of houses of poor people living there for 50 years in

the name of road widening at TCI Gate Mahewa.

MP representative Vinay Kushwaha said that MP Ujjwal Raman

Singh tried his best to stop the demolition but some leaders of the ruling

party had difficulty in passing through the TCI turn, hence, with the pressure

of the government, the road was widened by demolishing the houses of the poor. MP

Ujjwal Raman Singh demanded from the Chief Minister that the families affected

by the demolition should be immediately rehabilitated.
