Prayagraj, 15 July (HS): The Prayagraj District Women's

Trade Board and Evergreen Gallery by Rehna Khan organized an exhibition at the

Rangeela Bazaar Rakhi event at a local hotel in Civil Lines on Thursday. Women

from 16 districts of Uttar Pradesh set up stalls selling a variety of items

related to women. The program was inaugurated by former Mayor Prayagraj, Abhilasha

Gupta Nandi by cutting the ribbon. She inspired women to become self-reliant.

“Exhibition

stalls provide significant, localized opportunities for female entrepreneurs to

attain self-reliance. They empower women with direct market access, allowing

them to cut out intermediaries, authenticate their goods, and create client

networks in order to ensure long-term, independent income. Selling directly to

consumers allows women to maintain 100% of their revenues while also receiving

rapid feedback on their products. It turns home-based hobbies (such as

tailoring, baking, and crafts) into official, profit-generating companies.

Interacting with a varied consumer base improves your bargaining skills,

financial literacy, and entrepreneurial confidence. When putting up an

exhibition stall, prioritize high-quality, professional packaging to make

handcrafted items stand out immediately, generate sales, and promote

independence. Consumers value a personal touch. Share your experience or a tale

of a woman who created a product to increase brand loyalty and connect people

to your cause,” she said while addressing the gathering.

District Women's Business Board President Avantika Tandon

and Women's Business Board Senior Vice President Hina Khan and Treasurer

Vandana Tripathi said that the main objective of this exhibition is to provide

a platform to make women self-reliant. In this, 56 stalls have been set up for

suits, sarees, jewellery, handmade, screen care, jewellery, clothes, home decor

products, footwear and other items.

of Prayagraj city have also installed their own stall. During this, District

Women's Trade Board President Avantika Tandon, General Secretary Pallavi Arora,

Vice President Hina Khan, Vandana Tripathi, Preeti Jaiswal, Bhavana Gupta,
