Lucknow, 10 July (HS): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national

president Mayawati said on Friday that we must be wary of organizations and

political parties that incite people to take to the streets for their own

selfish ends. She appealed to her supporters to fight within the ambit of the

law.

Mayawati reiterated in a press conference held at her

residence on Mall Avenue that crores of Dalits and neglected sections of the

country will have to take the key to political power of the Centre and the

states in their own hands to get their basic rights and solve their problems.

Mayawati cautioned her supporters saying that any

organisation or party which, for their narrow political interests, instigates

the distressed and suffering people of these classes and brings them out on the

streets, creates ruckus and road blockades etc. and then their leaders reach

the spot to shed crocodile tears and cook their political bread, through this

the victims will not get justice, rather in the present circumstances it will

only increase the troubles and problems of the people of these classes.

In such a situation, we must resolve our problems through

the correct and peaceful path suggested by Baba Saheb, that is, through our

unity and the power of our vote, we must obtain the master key to power, which

is the only cure for a million problems, and for which the BSP is constantly

ready and striving. We must not deviate from this path at all. People from

these communities must remain vigilant and cautious of all such organizations

and parties, especially as the Assembly and Lok Sabha general elections and

local body elections near.
