Muzaffarnagar/Lucknow, 05 June (HS): On the occasion of

World Environment Day, Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent

Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship,

planted a tree at the PWD Guest House complex near Makhiyali Chowki in his

constituency, Muzaffarnagar. The Scout-Guide team, volunteers, and local

citizens participated in the event, organized under the One Tree for

Mother campaign, initiated at the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On this occasion, Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal, while giving

the message of environmental protection and nature conservation, urged all

citizens to plant as many trees as possible and take responsibility for their

protection. He said that trees are the foundation of our lives and play an

important role in creating clean air, a green environment, and a healthy

future.

The Minister of State stated that amid the growing

environmental crisis and challenges of climate change, tree planting is not

just a campaign, but a social responsibility. He said that every person should

plant at least one tree in their lifetime and care for it regularly, so that

environmental conservation efforts can be sustainable and effective.

Kapil Dev Agarwal said, Planting trees is not just a

service to nature, but also a responsibility towards future generations.

He called on people to make environmental protection a mass movement and

actively contribute to building a clean, safe, and green India.
