
NEW DELHI, June 4 (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday warmly welcomed Acting President of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the forthcoming discussions aim to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries and provide new momentum to bilateral relations.
The talks are expected to cover all aspects of India-Venezuela relations, with a focus on identifying new avenues of cooperation in key sectors such as energy security, trade and investment, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, transport, and renewable energy.
Delcy Rodríguez is on an official visit to India from June 3 to June 7. She has previously visited India several times in her capacities as Foreign Minister and Vice President, and this marks her sixth visit to the country.
