Guwahati, 04 June (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday announced the names of the legislators who will be sworn in as Cabinet Ministers in the Government of Assam. The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be held on June 5 at 12:45 PM.

According to the announcement, the legislators set to take oath as Cabinet Ministers are Ashwini Ray Sarkar, Ashok Singhal, Bimal Bora, Biswajit Daimary, Jayant Mallabarua, Kaushik Rai, Keshab Mahanta, Krishnendu Paul, Nilima Devi, Pijush Hazarika, Dr. Ranoj Pegu and Susanta Borgohain.

The oath-taking ceremony will mark the induction of the new ministers into the Assam Council of Ministers. The event is expected to be attended by Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, senior government officials and other dignitaries.

The ceremony will be held at the Jyoti-Bishnu International Kala Mandir in Guwahati. -----------
