Bhubaneswar, 04 June (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday expressed gratitude to the people of the state as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) completed two years since securing a historic mandate in Odisha.

In a message shared on social media, the Chief Minister described June 4 as a landmark and proud day in the political history of Odisha. He said that on this day two years ago, the people of the state had voted decisively for change and delivered a clear and historic mandate in favour of the BJP.

Majhi said the people's verdict not only paved the way for the formation of a strong government but also laid the foundation for building a transparent, prosperous and progressive Odisha by ending years of stagnation.

The Chief Minister stated that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of service, good governance and welfare of the poor, the state's double-engine government had ushered in a new era of development over the past two years through close coordination between the Centre and the state government.

Highlighting the government's priorities, Majhi said that administrative transparency, accountability and public welfare remain at the core of its governance agenda. He added that the government is committed to ensuring the holistic development of all sections of society and that the people's unwavering trust and support have further strengthened its resolve.

Expressing confidence in Odisha's future, the Chief Minister said the government is continuously working to transform the state into one of the country's leading performers through sustained development and public service. He also called upon the people of Odisha to actively participate in the mission of building a Prosperous Odisha alongside the vision of a Developed India and contribute towards taking the state to greater heights of growth and prosperity.
