Birla unveiled the statue of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar in a programme organised
on Tuesday at the Model School Ground in Etmadpur town of Agra district in
Uttar Pradesh under the supervision of Union Minister of State for Home and MP
Agra Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel and addressed a huge public gathering at the Model
School Ground and highlighted the personality and work of Lokmata. He said that
Ahilyabai's life is a symbol of dedication, sacrifice and service, which inspires
rulers even today. With the inspiration of policy, truth, justice, compassion,
spirituality and culture, Lokmata rejuvenated consciousness in different states
of the country and gave it a new direction.
To participate
in this program, Maharashtra Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shankarrao
Shinde reached Agra by Indigo flight from Navi Mumbai Airport at around 2 pm
and from the airport went straight to the Circuit House where after about 1
hour Om Birla also reached the Circuit House by car from Mathura. Rajya Sabha
MP BJP Naveen Jain, MLA Fatehpur Sikri Chaudhary Babulal, former MLA BJP
Chaudhary Udaybhan Singh, Pradeep Bhati, Vijay Shivhare MLC, District President
BJP Prashant Pauniya, Metropolitan President Rajkumar Gupta were present at the
Circuit House.
From Circuit
House, Om Birla along with Prof. Shinde arrived at the Etmadpur event venue in
a car around 4 pm. He addressed the public gathering after unveiling the statue
of Lok Mata. Present on the stage were the event organizer, Union Minister of
State and Agra MP SP Singh Baghel, along with Rajya Sabha MP Naveen Jain,
Fatehpur Sikri MLA Choudhary Babulal, Etmadpur MLA Dr Dharampal Singh, Agra
Cantonment MLA Dr GS Dharmesh, Agra North MLA Purushottam Khandelwal, Fatehabad
MLA Chhotelal Verma, Kheragarh MLA Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, Uttar Pradesh State
Women's Commission President Babita Chauhan, District Panchayat President Manju
Bhadoria, former MP Prabhudayal Katheria, former MLA Udaybhan Singh, former MLA
