Prayagraj, 03 June (HS): While narrating the story on the

fifth day of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized by Shri Hanuman Seva Samiti at

Bargad Ghat Hanuman Temple, Meerapur, it was said that to end the

unrighteousness and sins, Lord Shri Krishna was born in the prison of Mathura

and to protect him from Kansa, Vasudev ji left him in Gokul where the festival

was celebrated with great pomp and show.

And further narrating the story, Maharaj said that ego is

the main reason for downfall which Thakur ji does not like, be it a human or a

deity. Lord Shri Krishna broke the ego of Indra by lifting Govardhan mountain

and Govardhan came to be known as Girdhari Lal. On this occasion, Lord Shri

Krishna was offered 56 types of dishes.

In today's Katha, BJP leader Rajesh Kesarwani, councilor

Sahil Arora and Rohit Verma performed Aarti. The story was conducted by

Abhishek Thakur. Committee President Devendra Singh Chandel, General Secretary
