
Itanagar, 29 June (HS): Seven of the nine people who went missing in the devastating floods in Dambuk area of Lower Dibang Valley district in Arunachal Pradesh have been rescued alive during an ongoing search and rescue operation by the Indian Air Force.
The victims had gone missing after severe flooding triggered by heavy rains ravaged parts of the district, disrupting normal life and cutting off several areas.
Rescue teams of the Indian Air Force continue intensive search operations to trace the remaining two missing persons. Authorities said the operation is underway and all possible efforts are being made to locate them at the earliest.---------------
