
Etawah, 28 June (HS): In Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh,
Social Welfare Minister Aseem Arun on Sunday released the book 'Uttar Pradesh's
Freedom Struggle and Etawah' written by former DIG Harish Kumar. The program
was organized at Rang Mahal Resort on Jalaun Road in the city, in which a large
number of dignitaries were present. The program was presided over by BJP
District President Sarvesh Katheria, while it was jointly conducted by Dr. Kush
Chaturvedi and State President of Uttar Pradesh Principal Council Rajesh Kumar
Agnihotri. Former Minister Lakhan Singh Rajput was present as the special
guest.
The program began with listening and watching the 135th
episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat on an LED
screen. This was followed by garlanding and offering flowers to a portrait of
Goddess Saraswati. Principal Geeta Chaturvedi performed the Saraswati Vandana.
All guests, including the chief guest, were welcomed with garlands, robes, and
mementos.
In his address after the book release, Social Welfare
Minister Asim Arun said that this book is an important work based on the
author's hard work and historical facts, which will work to connect the new
generation with the history of the freedom struggle.
Special guest Lakhan Singh Rajput congratulated former DIG
Harish Kumar on the book release and praised his efforts. Dependents of freedom
fighters were also honored at the event. The chief guest honored by presenting
them with garlands, robes, insignia, and a book. Former DIG Harish Kumar
thanked all the guests, including chief guest Aseem Arun, and the attendees for
attending the release of his sixth book.
On this occasion, more than two hundred people including
District Panchayat President Kamal Dohre, BJP District General Secretary Manu
Rajput, Regional Minister Awadhesh Shukla, District General Secretary of All
India Ex-Servicemen Association Manmohan Singh Sengar, Amar Singh Rajput, Shyam
Singh Kushwaha were present.
