
Ayodhya, 27 June (HS): State Governor Anandiben Patel inaugurated the
newly constructed Anganwadi center near the Brahmakund Gurudwara in Vashisht
Kund Ward on Saturday. She inaugurated the center by cutting the ribbon and
unveiling a plaque.
After the inauguration, she inspected the center
and interacted with the children, encouraging them. The Governor also spoke
with Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and local women, and said that Anganwadi
centers are an important medium for children's nutrition, education, and
women's empowerment. She gave the message to everyone to resolve to
become self-reliant. She explained that new Anganwadi centers have been
approved in Ayodhya due to the shortage of Anganwadi centers.
New Anganwadi centers are being constructed in
various areas, including Vashishtha Kund, to provide better education and
nutrition to children. Ten Anganwadi centers are being built in the ward,
directly benefiting children and women.
