Ayodhya, 19 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath stated on Friday that the teachings of Jain Tirthankaras provide a

universal message for humanity, inspiring self-discipline and spiritual

practice, which alone can pave the way for the welfare of not just society, but

all living beings and the world at large. CM stated that only people who are

secure and self-disciplined can properly espouse the live and let

live philosophy, emphasizing that chaotic or negative forces cannot

sustain discipline or government.

During the Bhagwan Munisuvratnath Panchkalyanak Pratishtha

Mahotsav, Chief Minister Adityanath stated, Remember, only those who are

safe can deliver the mantra of live and let live. Only those with

self-discipline can provide it. Negative, chaotic forces cannot maintain

self-control. And how can someone without self-discipline control others? And

this is how this precious legacy has inspired us all. It's a message to the

entire planet. He went on to say that only by adhering to this message

will we be able to promote the well-being of not just the entire earth, but

also mankind and all living things. This is the route that may lead to

everyone's well-being, and the Jain Tirthankaras have always inspired humanity

with their spiritual practices and precious teachings.

While encouraging people to demonstrate empathy for animals,

CM Adityanath stated, I would request that all of you do whatever we can

to protect cows. And I think that in India, every household has a practice of

giving the first piece of food to Mother Cow.” He said, When we used to

go home in the evening to light the lamp, we would take flour and sugar and

look for the ants. We would also provide them anything because they have

a stake. This is the idea for 'live and let live': to prepare the path for the

well-being of all living things.”

“Jain Tirthankaras have always inspired global humanity with

the message of 'Live and Let Live' through their penance and sacred words. In

the dignified presence of the country's supreme Jain nun Ganinimukh Shri

Gyanmati Mataji and revered monks, saints, and religious preceptors, I was

blessed with the supreme fortune of participating today in the Lord

Munisuvratnath Panchkalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav program held at Shri Ayodhya

Dham. Crores and crores of obeisance to the tradition of Lord

Rishabhdev, and my auspicious wishes for the Panchkalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsav,”

he stated in a post on X.
