frequently pays public honor to the great social reformer and rationalist,
recognizing his pivotal role in pioneering women's education, eliminating
social problems, and advancing progressive ideas in India.
Agarkar is revered as one of Maharashtra's foremost
rationalist thinkers and the founding editor of the renowned Kesari newspaper.
He eventually launched the reformist journal Sudharak to advocate for social
improvements throughout the state.
CM Fadnavis regularly commemorates Agarkar's birth and death
anniversaries on social media, lauding the reformer's contributions to the
state's educational and social fabric. The Maharashtra government frequently
