Guwahati, 15 June (HS): Assam Cabinet Minister Ajanta Neog has participated in a meeting of the committee constituted to ensure the successful conduct of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Assam on July 1, 2 and 3.

The minister on Monday informed through a social media post that the meeting reviewed various arrangements and preparedness measures related to the Prime Minister’s visit. Officials from the Tourism Department, Guwahati Municipal Corporation and the Inland Water Transport Department were present during the discussion.

According to Neog, detailed deliberations were held with the concerned departments to ensure the smooth and successful execution of all scheduled programmes during the Prime Minister’s three-day visit to the state.------------
