New Delhi, 13 June (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the contribution of the country's youth as the Central government completed 12 years in office, stating that young Indians are helping shape the future of both India and the world through their achievements across a wide range of sectors.

The Prime Minister said that India’s youth are demonstrating exceptional talent in fields such as science and technology, manufacturing, space, semiconductors, and drone technology. According to him, their contributions in these emerging and strategic sectors are playing a significant role in driving innovation and nation-building, while laying a strong foundation for the vision of a developed India.

In a post on the social media platform X on Saturday,PM Modi said it was a matter of immense satisfaction to witness Indian youth excelling across diverse fields. He noted that young innovators and professionals are setting new benchmarks in technology-driven sectors and contributing meaningfully to the country's progress.

The Prime Minister also commended the achievements of young Indian athletes on the global stage. He said that Indian sportspersons have delivered outstanding performances in numerous international competitions, bringing pride and recognition to the nation.

He added that the accomplishments of these athletes have strengthened India’s reputation worldwide and highlighted the growing capabilities of the country’s sporting talent.

PM Modi further said that improved sporting ecosystems, modern infrastructure, and enhanced support mechanisms for athletes have created new opportunities for young people. As a result, an increasing number of youngsters are being encouraged to pursue sports as a professional career.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that India’s youth power would play a decisive role in taking the nation to greater heights in the years ahead, contributing significantly to the country’s development journey and global standing.
