Amaravati, 13 June (HS): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a two-day visit to Singapore from June 15 to 16 to attract investments, strengthen international partnerships and review progress related to the development of Amaravati.

According to the official schedule, the Chief Minister will depart for Singapore on June 14 and begin a series of meetings with government representatives, investors, industry leaders and international organisations from June 15.

During the visit, Naidu is scheduled to meet India's High Commissioner to Singapore, Shilpak Ambule, and participate in interactions with venture capitalists and startup ecosystem representatives. He is also expected to hold discussions with officials and business leaders on investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.

The Chief Minister will attend meetings with representatives of global organisations and companies, including Google Cloud Asia-Pacific, GIC, YCH Group and the National University of Singapore. Discussions are expected to focus on investment, innovation, infrastructure and economic cooperation.

Naidu is also scheduled to meet senior Singapore government leaders, including Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Foreign Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, to discuss areas of mutual interest and cooperation.

On June 16, the Chief Minister will participate in the APAC Semiconductor Roundtable, the World Cities Summit and the CII Partnership Summit 2026 Business Roadshow.

As part of the visit, Naidu will review the progress of Amaravati's planning and development in meetings with urban infrastructure and planning experts, including representatives of Surbana Jurong.

The Andhra Pradesh government said the visit is aimed at enhancing the state's global engagement, attracting investments and accelerating the development of Amaravati and other infrastructure projects.

A delegation comprising senior ministers and officials, including Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana and representatives of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board and the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), will accompany the Chief Minister.

Naidu is scheduled to return to India on the night of June 16.
