Thiruvananthapuram, 12 June (H.S.) : RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat will participate in two special lecture sessions in Kerala as part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's centenary celebrations, scheduled to be held in Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur on June 13 and 14.

The first programme will be held at the Udaya Palace Convention Centre in Thiruvananthapuram on June 13 at 4.30 p.m. Bhagwat will address an invited audience and interact with participants during a question-and-answer session. Organisers said the event is aimed at fostering dialogue on social and national issues and providing an opportunity for meaningful interaction with distinguished members of society.

The second lecture session is scheduled at the Hyatt Regency, Puzhakkal, in Thrissur on June 14, also at 4.30 p.m. The programme is expected to be attended by invited guests from various walks of life, including social, cultural and community leaders.

Bhagwat’s visit is part of a three-day tour of Kerala in connection with the RSS centenary year programmes being organised across the state. He is expected to arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday evening.

During the visit, the RSS chief will travel to Amritapuri, the headquarters of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, where he is scheduled to meet spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi Devi.

After completing his engagements in Kerala, Bhagwat is scheduled to leave for Bengaluru from Kochi International Airport on the morning of June 15, concluding his three-day visit to the state.
