New Delhi, 11 June (H.S.): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday presented the State government's Swarna Andhra @2047 vision at the 11th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, outlining plans for economic growth, employment generation, infrastructure development and human capital enhancement.

According to an official statement, Naidu said the State's long-term development strategy is aligned with the national goal of Viksit Bharat @2047 and focuses on poverty reduction, skill development, water and energy security, and expansion of sectors such as agriculture, logistics and technology.

The Chief Minister highlighted the use of technology-driven governance systems, including real-time monitoring and data-based decision-making mechanisms, to improve public service delivery and administrative efficiency.

Naidu informed the meeting that Andhra Pradesh has attracted significant investment proposals in recent years and stressed the importance of infrastructure development, policy stability and faster approvals for promoting industrial growth.

He said the State government is working to ensure access to housing, sanitation, drinking water, cooking fuel, electricity, digital connectivity and welfare benefits for all eligible households.

The Chief Minister also referred to initiatives in healthcare, education and skill development, including programmes aimed at strengthening digital health services and promoting training in emerging technologies.

Raising concerns over declining fertility rates, Naidu called for attention to demographic challenges and the need for long-term planning to address future workforce requirements.

He reiterated Andhra Pradesh's commitment to cooperative federalism and said the State would continue to work with the Centre and NITI Aayog towards achieving the goals of Viksit Bharat 2047.
